In the late fourties and fifties our predecessor Elischer Ceramics whose main pre occupation had been art pottery began making flaggons and related advertising items such as ash trays and jugs for the liquor industry.Many of these items including Paddies from Ireland,Greers,Three Castles,Glen Nairn and McCallum water jugs are now greatly prized by collectors.
