JIM BEAM

In the 1950s partly due to the penal taxes levied on inventories of aged bourbon whiskey the board of the company reluctantly agreed to market some of their product in a fancy ceramic decanter designed to capture some of the gift market.Sales of this first decanter were enormously successful with stocks quickly selling out and the ere of Jim Beam Regal China Decanters began.

In the ensuing years Beam issued these decanters, each unique in conception and design in answer to ever increasing demand. Some honoured States of the Union some centennials of cities and events and others popular sporting events.Because of their limited availability these decanters quickly became collectors items and in no time clubs started springing up all over the US and before long in many other parts of the world.

In 1992 Jim Beam Brands decided to cease production of their ceramic decanters and the International Association of Jim Beam Bottle and Specialties Club decided to continue to produce limited edition decanters useing independent specialists and thus was formed the association between Unique Ceramics and the thousands of avid collectors in the US and around the world. On the pages opposite are some of the products of this association.
